In 2018 Mia and Kenny Ellis decided to initiate a fifty state challenge. It was a proposition to fight one opponent from one state per month. The ultimatum was set to challenge opponents to commit to fight Mia. The commitment from opponents fell through which contributed to Mia’s decision to transition to a professional career.

December 28, 2019 - Mia Ellis made her pro-debut at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta Georgia on the Gervonta Davis undercard.
